Delete your account

You can request the deletion of your account and all associated data at any time, directly from the Capital Tracker app. The process is immediate and your data will be permanently deleted in a maximum of 30 days.

How to delete your account

Step 1

Log into Capital Tracker

Access your account in the mobile app or at www.capitaltrackerapp.com with your email and password.

Step 2

Go to Settings → Security

In the main menu, go to your profile and access the "Security and Access" section.

Step 3

Press "Delete account"

In the "Account Deletion" section, press the red button. You will be asked to type DELETE to confirm.

Step 4

Confirmation

Once confirmed, your account will be marked for deletion and all your data will be deleted in a maximum of 30 days.

Data that is deleted

By deleting your account, all associated data is permanently deleted:

  • User account and access credentials
  • Bank accounts and linked cards
  • Transactions and financial history
  • Budgets and categories
  • Investments and registered assets
  • Analysis, metrics and generated reports
  • Open Banking connections (Tink)
  • Subscription and billing data

Retention period

During the first 30 daysYour data is kept for a maximum of 30 days from the deletion request. During this period your account is deactivated and you cannot access the service.
After 30 daysAll data is permanently and irreversibly deleted. No user data is kept.

This action is irreversible

Once the 30 days have passed, it is not possible to recover the data. Make sure to export any information you need before deleting your account.

Can't access your account?

If you cannot log in to delete your account from the app, contact us directly and we will manage the deletion of your data manually.
